Just a few questions !!
Are there any 'Environmental' issues with throwing old mats away ??
Can we get 'Club' discount on 'New Mats' ??
Should we buy 'Mitsubishi' original parts instead of cheaper alternatives ??
Will new mats help the MPG ??, or top speed ??
Do we have to nail 'Carpet Grippers' to the interior ??
Bet you wish you'd never started this, Huh ?? |

Sorry, can you run that by me again perhaps if you had pics. to show step by step installation of new mats i might be able to do mine next weekend.
Its on my list for maintaining vehicle but it is a daunting task to know which bits go where.
Cheers in advance ( very useful thread, will have to let my mates know about it) |

just to clarify a few points:
mud, dont transfer, slows down 0 - 60 capabiities
original parts? no: 99p in poundstretchers protects the official mats just fine!
tools - you can adapt, just need to be able bend double!
environment - recycle old ones into dog bed
mpg - yes enormous difference! (less crud)
carpet grippers - personal choice
hope this helps.

So these mats, no one mentions if they are for the 2.5, 2.8 or V6. I wish people wouldn't just give half the advice. |
