try NFU.... |
Thanks for the heads up, I have used the club insurers for around 3 years now but this years first renewal quote jumped from 253 last year to just over 600, ouch!! they then scouted around and came back with a new quote of just over 400.
Well I checked with ecar, an online insurer, and they quoted me 344 which was a better figure, then I saw your post so as we a have a branch local to us I popped in and asked them.
They have done my insurunce for £243....[£10 cheaper than last years from 2gether] this is full comp, no mileage restrictions, protected no claims, legal cover, trailer towing cover up to a £1000 [not caravans though] 12 months RAC roadside assistance [upgradeable for £20 to get me home cover] courtesy car in the event of no blame claims., £50 windscreen excess, £500 adiou/video cover for non standard systems, £250 compulsory excess and £100 voluntary, oh and I am on a medical restricted licence as well!!!
So again thanks for the heads up and NFU get my vote and business this year.
To find your local branch just go to the NFU mutual website. |

hi there
glad it was useful to you these companies are all to quick to try and overcharge you these days, I found them because my mother had used them for years and when she died and took over her car i couldnt believe the price so i thought i would try them for the pajero and was very happy with their quote and prices |
