Not sure what to advise really...I had a Shogun which had stickers saying 45psi on the windows and when I enquired of the previous owner, she said she got them from the tyre suppliers. They were BF Goodrich 31.10x50x15's (I think) and I never had probs with running at about 42 psi for the next 8 yrs.
I think my Paj's at the moment are 265 70 16's and they are set at 40 psi.
A while ago during a debate on pressures, most members opted for 28 to 30 psi I believe.
All I can suggest is you run at between 30 and 40 and see how it goes, watching out for uneven wear etc. |

hi there,
In my Pajero Handbook it say tyre pressure as follow:
Front wheels: 25.2 psi
Rear wheels: 28 psi
It is for 265/70 r16 112h size but i think it wont be big different for your's 275/70 r16. |

According to a Pajero Manual I have here:-
Tyre Size         F      R
215/85R18     28     28
265/70R15     26     28
265/70R16     26     28
225/80R15     26     28
All figures are in psi.

Trig,
You could be right, I have taken the tyre info from the sticker inside of the door. I did check this with the Autodata manual and it does confirm the pressures stated. Although nothing was stated about summer/winter driving?
Tin man
change the oil+ filter every 5000kms or 3000miles regardless.
Hope this helps |

Markyd, the reason I asked is that I noticed the tyres on my Pajero look as if they need more air lately... actually since the temp. dropped (about 7C now!!!)... I usually put 30 psi ... but it seems that cold weather "shrinks" the air inside and may be 34 in winter is more suitable |
