When there's not a lot of rain on the Plains (i'm sure there's a song in there somewhere ) instead of being clearish water in the holes it'll be thick and muddy, that'll clog radiators and kill alternators. |

Now THAT is worth remembering. Certainly something I hadn't considered and stands to reason it's going to be concentrated mud.....
Hmmmmm |

One other thing to consider is that a hose through the grill to wash the rad out will most likely only wash the air con rad out as it's fitted in front of the coolant rad, it'll need a wash out from behind and if it's extreme maybe even removal to do it properly. My "laning" paj now has the air con rad removed permanently, the viscous fan and shroud removed and replaced with 2 electric fans, it makes for easier cleaning. Alternator is also now high up on the engine, I learnt the hard way (went through 3 alternators in muddy holes ) |

That's another good thing about my Shogun. It has no toys what-so-ever so nothing in the way of the radiator lol. |

Cmon guys, where are all the pics?
Especially ones of the newbie initiation
I had to go through it with Paul, Lou, Tim and Pete(Pete was a different story entirely )
But if we had to go through it, I want to see others suffer |
