Urrrm I can not see that getting in the fuel filter....  Shocked

Got to say if this is a perm fix it would save alot of hours work if fuel pump needs a overhall. Very Happy

Yeah I agree, but a further update...  the light seems to be coming on and turning off, probably the fluid running through. The light first came on just as I hit a puddle so the that's where the idea came from  Rolling Eyes I actually thought maybe water got on the contacts or something.. never thought about it. Anyway I'm not going to clog this thread up any more with that light on the dash. Il just edit a post with any updates.

i thought yours was leaking from somewhere above the fuel pump near the injectors????
the brake fluid will do nothing for your fuel warning light. drain the filter and check the fuel.
if what comes out has a black tinge or looks *beep* y then you may have fuel pump problems but make sure before you start dumping things in looking for a quick fix.

It was but i replaced the rubber pipe and fitted new clips (its not leaking from there now) BUT Evil or Very Mad  it is still leaking from somewhere, it can only be the fuel pump now, cant it????????
