Hi all,

I assumed my 2005 3.2 DiD did not have a tool kit for when asked the seller said it did not have one when he bought it

I assumed it was a simple tool roll in the jack storage cubby at the rear and thought I`d look on e-bay to see if I could buy one.

I found the one below as described for a Mk3 DiD/GDi

Its quite comprehensive and obviously clips away - but where? I have a SWB 2005 DiD so are the LWB and SWB toolkits different?

I`m hoping I am being a right prat and its there all along - but where?

That looks the same as for a 2.8. In which case it goes in the tailgate door. You should see a cover that opens for it.

Then that tool kit cant be for a mk3 3.2 DiD as I`ve got a cargo net and cubby hole in the door - apologies for the poor photo - my camera flash is cr*p  Confused

So if I re-phrase the original question to.....................

..........................What does the toolkit for a 2005 3.2 DiD look like?

That kit looks like its from a Pajero as its the same one thats on the back door of my '95 SWB.

My 3.2 shog has the same cargo net and cubby hole as yours and as far as I know I dont have a toolkit anywhere in mine unless its well hidden away somewhere!

Toolkit for a 3.2 is a grey bag containing tools under the third row seat. The space with the cargo net is for the head restraints off the third row seats, the other pocket has whatever purpose you give it, I keep a pair of heavy duty gloves for changing wheels etc in there.

That'll be why ive never seen my toolkit, ive never used the third row of seats  as I have a cage in the back for my two dogs!

I do always carry a toolbag in the truck with most things I might need for any roadside repairs so never really bothered looking for it  Sad

That tool kit is for a 2001 3.2, mines the same and sits in the rear door where you all have a cubby hole.  Laughing

Looking at mine it looks like the cubby will pop out and that toolbox will fit nicely in the space left by it.

Think I'd prefer that to the cubby myself !!
