Just replaced my 18 inch alloys with 15 inch steels.
What are the recommended wheel nut torques for steellies? |

According to this, it's the same as the alloys at 120Nm.
Continental Tyre torque settings chart
Have you had to purchase new wheel nuts for the steel wheels? On my Challenger the nuts are shouldered, which wouldn't suit steel wheels. |

I use 115Nm on my steel wheels.
As Simon says - I assume you have replaced the nuts with tapered ones. |

Yeah, I got a new set with the wheels and tyres. I've now got locking wheel nuts for them and realised I didn't have the torque settings.
I was worried about over tightening as I remember the studs on the Frontera were prone to snapping quite easily. |

I think Simon is correct with 120Nm - I seem to remember seeing that figure somewhere, but I am also worried about snapping the studs so I have used 115Nm for the past six years with no problems. |
