Hi guys
2004 3.2 auto gearbox

So I had an oil leak( pipe burst) on the gearbox oil cooler, resulting in pretty much a total loss of ATF oil, limped home, sorted out oil pipe, filled up with ATF, no leaks. Towed a car trailer with car on approx 300 miles ( 2 tonnes in weight) then 300 miles back towing empty trailer in 13hours no problem at all, however next day a fault developed whereby it struggled to drive, if I select reverse it’s perfect but when drive is selected it struggles to take up the drive initially then once it picks up it’s ok, the next problem is once it gets into third gear the green neutral light flashes above the green drive light, if you put it into manual it’s stuck in 3rd gear and struggles to drive as if there’s no vacuum
Any ideas out there
Cheers Drew

Sounds like low ATF, did you check the ATF level correctly as there is a procedure for it and do it wrong it shows the right level but is to low.
