Does anyone know if you can buy window strips for the intrepid Paj.
If they aren't available what undercoat and paint is best for the job of refinishing them? As long as it is black and protected , I am not bothered about a good finish.
thank you |

i repainted mine using a general primer and black satin paint, the hard part was getting all of the old stuff off as it didnt seem to be paint on there, more like a rubber coating that had perished and was pealing away, the coating is attatched to the rubberpart of the outer window seal, looked smart when they where finished though,i bent one of them prizing it out because there is a screw that attatches to the inside of the door and i didnt see it.i think if i was to do it again ,i would try a vinyl wrap that you can buy in sheets and apply it with them on the door. |

Hello. Thanks for that. It is the same on mine the thick rubber.plastic is peeling off looks really tatty and the strips are going rusty. I will have a look at the vinyl wrap option sounds a lot easier. |

I found a new set from China on Feebay £50.00. Took about half hour to change all four. Well pleased with them and saved loads of time and rubbing down .
I recommend this option |

I did buy the vinyl wrap first and then I tried Rubbing them down, But as you said the coating is bonded to the strips and so hard to remove.
The new ones came with new clips, so if anyone needs new clips I have some spare. |
