Hi all,

I recently had an issue where the compressor would stop turning and the belt would keep spinning around screeching like crazy til it snapped. My local garage recommended a new compressor, dryer and condenser which I got them to install last week. After a week of no issues the brand new compressor is showing the same fault, it's spins nicely for a while then once you hit the higher rev ranges the compressor locks up and the belt spins around it screeching like mad.

I assume this means the fault isn't with the compressor itself but I'm lost trying to think what it could be.

I have a video of the fault of someone can tell where to upload it 😂

The fault is in the clutch and it is a common problem, if it spins and doesn't lock the comperessor wont turn.
