Front speakers are 100mm and are a piece of cake to replace.

To replace the rear speakers....

1. Rear seats - Undo the 6 bolts and remove the seats as one unit (bloody heavy)

2. Rear arm rests - First remove the cover panel (two clips, one either side, at the bottom and then slide upwards, then undo the 4 bolts.

3. Rear parcel shelf holders - carefully unclip the 4 cover panels, disconnect 12 volt cigar lighter point and then undo the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.

4. Rear carpet retainer (strip along bottom of door apeture) undo 5 screws.

5. Front door sill guards - lots of screws. (it makes life a bit easier if you take these off)

6. Seat belts - Undo the bolts holding rear seat belts to the floor pan, 2 bolts.

7. Ashtrays - Take out the rear ashtrays and undo the screw holding the metal part to the bodywork on each side.

8. Seat belt guide - There are two hidden screws on the seat belt guide where the seat belts disappear into the rear panels.

9. Rear panels - undo the 5 screws on each side holding the rear panels to the floorpan and the two screws in the rear passenger footwell on each side. Take out the plastic push in plugs holding the rear panel to the rear door apeture. Carefully ease the panels away from the bodywork from the bottom first from the rear of the Paj. There are about 6 plastic panel clips which will pop out of the holes on the interior bodywork. Ease the panel over the stud which holds the rear parcel shelf holders in place. The panel will then slide out from under the window surround. Push the panel forwards to unhook from the front door apetures. (this is why you took the sill guards off)

10. The speakers are 6" round speakers set into a 6x9 blanking panel. Remove the blanking panels, 4 screws on either side and replace the speakers. The speaker grills are bolted to the side panels from the inside.

11. Refitting - opposite to removal except remember to retrieve the 12v supply to the lighter socket before you put the passenger side panel back in place. It is not easy to get the panels back in place as you will have to slide the panel backwards to clip it round the front door apetures, up behind the window trim and line up all six panel clips at the same time.

12. Good luck - It takes about 3 hours

General hints - Get the car warm inside first so the plastic parts are not so brittle and get hold of some of the interior panel clips and barbed plastic push in pegs as these tend to break off.
