the easiest way of creating the cheapest, and easiest fuel is to use kerosene. in a 70/30 mix, it burns cleaner, no black smoke even when booting it, cleans the engine, get better mpg, nuff said. i saw someone who used pure kerosene in his landcruiser, and unfortunately, as kerosene is not as greasy as diesel, it dried out the seals in his pump, and kanckered his engine... hope this helps

so if we add something that'll increase lubricity of kerosene, it'll be okay right?

oh wait. kerosene here is as expensive as unleaded, and diesel's the cheapest.

so, does that mean that you could technically run on red diesel also, providing you have registered to pay duty tax.

anyone know the answer to this?? or would the duty on red diesel work out the same as if you were running on white anyway??

it would probably work out to be more expensive cos the rate of duty would be the same, but you'd have the delivery cost, unless you got a large amount of it.

As far as I can make out, there are 2 reasons you not allowed to use red diesel in ordinary road going vehicles. 1 is the tax , but the other is the emmissions, yes back to them. Red diesel is cheaper because it is less refined than white so govt. don`t like it . It is meant for agricultural and plant use only.

I may be wrong but I know you can get done big time for using it in a car/4x4 etc. And no I haven`t...
