I know the system can't be used over here, but can anyone tell me where the sat nav receiver is located in the car?

Is the hard drive unit the one located under the front passenger seat, or is this just the cd/dvd unit for the sat nav discs, or if this is not the hard drive, where is it?

Finally, has anyone connected up to the vehicle via the connection sockets under the dash - and if so, what sort of connectors are required?

I want to have look at replacing/reprograming the system!

its all in the box under the seat, plus in the radio head unit, plus in the screen, the lump on top of the screen is th gps antenna. i have removed complete system from my car and fitted a full u.k. mitsubishi system, including new screen, radio, etc. everything works as it should aircon display, radio display cd display, reversing camera, but not the sat nav!! there is something different in the cars wirirg as jap system was all controled through radio head but u.k. system has a remote control for sat nav. there is a company down your way that offers replacement sat nav system that uses original screen and new radio head unit, if i can find details i will pm you.

hi can anybody help me i want to replace the whole system but still have all the features can it be done and if so who could i ask?? please help
