I am a (tr)ucker and i collect cars from a breakers yard (mitchels at Bishops Cleeve), which isn't far from the camp site. I know the roads well and the downfall is, my lorry has cruise, but the paj doesn't. If there's any probs then i can get my guv to (tnt) any spares direct to camp site, (next day delivery). |

Thats nice to to know, Pete. I am down that way at least once a month, have you got an address for the breakers? I don't know about having cruise control, but what would be handy to carry or have, is a video camera, with some of the drivers down there, we could make some money from you are being framed. I just popped into Bishops Cleeves last saturday to get a key cut for the caravan and you should have seen this elderly man going round a roundabout near Liddle, then reversing halfway round it and turning left.

Not too far up the road - on the A40 towards Oxford, there is the Cotswold Wildlife Park - great for an afternoon out with little ones - everything from Rhinos to tigers to bats - its about 20 miles away in Burford

First thing, why the hell you would want to run 100% on veg, baffles me, but hey, your motor, and we will have a few workshop jobs on the go anyway, just remember, full jobs like that are best done at home etc, cos if you get to the point of no return, and bang, something goes, you have to get home after.
Still, what ever needs doing, just make sure anyone who wants things fitted etc, you have the parts you need, and we will have a go at the meet, but also, remember, the beer, thats all I ask ! |

richies toolbox also doubles as a good seat for the evenings, just don't offer to carry it !!!
richie will also be available for advice on how to turn your paj into a tardis, with a little bit of everything in it ......
great to see the workshops happening - i may bring the paj now instead of the delica, as paj needs more doing !!!
cheers richie !!

As part of the weekends fun....
We are running a competition for the best 'Window Hanger' at the MM!
What we want you to do is make a Window Hanger, which will show your name(s), both POCUK name and real name!
The hanger can be made of anything as long as it's base is a maximum size equivalent to a number plate (long rectangular)
Get the kids involved to make up a fancy plate
You can use anything to make the Hanger look fancy! and a maximum of TWO hangers per family!
There will be Three prizes....and only one category for everybody! Age doesn't matter!
Judging will take place on Monday morning so make sure the Hangers are visible in the Paj window!
Any questions please PM me for an answer.
PS (any bribes are welcome and accepted Blackmail or threats will not! ) |
