My Paj's radio only had one speaker working. So I thought I'd take out the radio, find the other spk cables and get them re-connected. As If it was that simple! When the radio came out, the wiring has obviously been hacked. Various connectors, cut wires, bare wires, wires coming from the loom but not connected to anything (they are not the same colours as the Speakers either!), cables spliced and held by elec tape, nothing soldered, just a big mess.
As I pulled the radio out, two cables touched (yellow and black coming from the back of the radio, via some sort of small black box (had coils in, didn't look like a transformer) to an extension block shorted. Now the radio doesn't work, Heaters always start on 25deg, interior lights don't work, clock is off, Wing mirror folding doesn't work....neither does that bloomin bleeping noise when the driver door opens (which isn't a bad thing!)
What have I done? Is it simply a fuse blown issue? If so, what fuse number deals with these devices? Has anyone had similar problems? |

if you go to the club home page and to the faq there is the english version of the fuse box, its a 10 amp fuse you are after and it is under the driver side dash by the accelerator.
you earthed battery live to ground so should only blow the fuse. |
