is there fluid in air con?

As per title. The air con pipes at the back of my LWB are all wet and filthy around the union. Where they run between the fuel tank and rear axle. I am trying ti figure out what the leak is as its near fuel lines and I want to see if they are leaking.

Yes, there is a certain amount of oil in the aircon system. Not a huge amount though.

Hmm. I'll have to investigate further as its all over the floor above it all over the air con hose at the connection and even on the diff below the pipe.

Does the aircon work ok (maybe hard to tell in this cold weather)? It would soon run out of gas with any kind of noticeable leak in the refrigerant circuit. I would try cleaning the area up and checking it after use to see if you can see where it's originating from, thought i'd think it's more likely to be fuel as it sounds like one of the common areas for the lines to corrode.

That looks like a lot of oil - way more than I'd expect in the aircon system. Are you sure it's not fuel?
