Hi all.
Just had work done on vehicle and noticed on return that my external temp reading says "EO",any ideas as to what has happened and can I fix it?

its the sensor on the steering column under the steering wheel its silver and about 12 ml square if its been dislodged it causes the problem u are having  Wink have a good look it may be on the floor its easy to knock off with the knee !!!

hi Sherman, sounds like loose/corroded/broken connection or wire to sensor. the external temp sensor should be tucked inside nearside front bumper corner, a torch will help in finding it.
internal temp sensor is as shanagan described well thumbright

ooops didnt spot it said external temp  Embarassed mine showed EO on internal temp
