Anyone know if I won anything in the raffle? |

PHEW!! - finally had chance to relax ... echo the big thanks to EVERYONE who helped, attended, made this possible ....... i had planned to stay until wednesday, but have spent the last 2 days in doing courses, and meeting with authorities etc .. with regards to Settle Festival next year .....
Going to look into Mega Meet sites etc over next couple of weeks, and will go visit potential ones at end of August ..... around lakes etc ....
do folks generally feel that an earlier in the year meet is better ?
my thoughts on this are that yes it is ...
because
folks have their own plans for Summer Hols
An earlier Mega Meet for newbies as their 1st meet means they can attend more of the other meets after they have a taster ..
It is cheaper season generally for campsites
All being well, we will have a supa mega music festival to attend at end of august
more smaller summer weekenders could be organised, rather than perhaps being shadowed by mega meet
any other thoughts?
i guess if this develops into a huge discussion, we will split it out into it's own thread ...
but, basically ... lovely meeting old and new friends, it was nice with me having to do less .. thank you to those that helped .. special thanks to stoney and wild gal, scott and joe, brownie and mrs grumpy, gareth, stumpyjoe, redders, suvvey, telford viking, onan, bluemoon and his "hareem", richie, tony, mr and mrs tonka, badoo, etc etc etc and everyone else .. every little bit of help counts at these meets ...
heres looking forwards to 2008
