Just found this, looks "pleasant" and I know they have rallies there.

We've been to Woodland Waters in Ancaster a few times, nice site, play area for the kids, pub/club on site, nice walks through the woods, and I would think fairly easy for folk to get to. Not too far from the A1. Flat site, electric good, dont know about prices as its a few years since we were there, think last time was about 3 years ago

Will this be a couple of nights camping over a weekend type thing or a day job? Whatever venue you choose it will be a fair way to go for some people. I've been to a fair few Jap sports car meets and the weekend meets are the best, roughing it with burnt bbq food and a few tinies. A popular meet is at Billing Aquadrome which would have facilities capable of large car meets which cater for campers etc.

Ah, I've seen the 2008 meet threads now. A weekend thing with somewhere to play offroad. Skip BillingAquadrome then, flat as a pancake. Wasn't expecting a meet so early in the year!

This may sound a bit sarcy but.....

The venue of MM09 depends entirely upon those wishing to arrange it!  Wink

Somebody needs to 'take the bull by the horns' and volunteer to arrange this years MM..... or places to stay will be very limited! Sad

We try to accommodate everyone for the Mega Meets, but there will always be some that have to travel further than others no matter where it is

so far we've had:
Derbyshire 05
Gloucestershire 06
Norfolk 07
North Yorkshire 08
