have taken mine off the road for the mo for some essential maintenance stuff to be done, and  to prepare it for mm, but of course its raining...........


and i'm driving steve's xantia for the time being..........nice car, but miss my paj dearly, its  been 5 days already!

took the xantia up a muddy track today, it looks nice with mud on it.....well, it must be good for it to use the suspension lift now and then..........  Very Happy  Very Happy

next xantia thing......got rear ended today, by a disco of all things!!!! now, had i been in my pajero, with nato hitch, he might have been even more sorry  Very Happy

The first round of the European Drag Racing Championship is on over that same weekend... http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_main.php ...and I quite fancied going whilst we're so close (and as I haven't been there for many years)... until I saw the prices!  It's £32 (or £27 in advance) per person for one day entry!  I'm far from tight but that seems an expensive day out! Shocked

In fairness, it looks like a hell of an event... there's cars, bikes, monster trucks, a Battle of Britain flypast, etc.  You can also have a ride in their two-seater dragster... from 0 to 170 mph in just 8 seconds over a distance of a quarter of a mile... for only £499! Shocked  Shocked
