took the xantia up a muddy track today, it looks nice with mud on it.....well, it must be good for it to use the suspension lift now and then..........

The first round of the European Drag Racing Championship is on over that same weekend... http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_main.php ...and I quite fancied going whilst we're so close (and as I haven't been there for many years)... until I saw the prices! It's £32 (or £27 in advance) per person for one day entry! I'm far from tight but that seems an expensive day out!
In fairness, it looks like a hell of an event... there's cars, bikes, monster trucks, a Battle of Britain flypast, etc. You can also have a ride in their two-seater dragster... from 0 to 170 mph in just 8 seconds over a distance of a quarter of a mile... for only £499!
