Hi all, what a bostin weekend we have just had, was a bit sorry I had to leave today but works a callin!
A big thank you to Sid73 and Stoney for the organisation, along with Skiddypants and Mark(DawnH's other half) for helping cook the food, to Kylie who endured the biggest ribbin that anyone ever has at a POCUK Meet, and to everyone who attended to make this meet the best one Ive been to!
Enjoyed the offroading at Tixover too, my car exceeded my expectations and only a big error of judgement got me stuck!
Some pics I took below, sorry I didnt take any of the socialising.....
A rose between two thorns maybe, all H-registered too!:
My car at Arriva Cannock that arvo:
Some yam-yam put this on Kylies car:

Well we got home at 7pm. All safe and well.
This is the third Mega meet i have been to and they just get better and better
The organisation was Bl@@dy excellant.
I arrived on site friday morn and Sid73 straight away told me where to go
The site was very clean and perfect for us, we had a secluded rally field to ourselves (till sun night). With a few bribes to the security (burgers etc)
A very big thanks to Sid73 (jase), mate, you did great. + anyone that helped with organising etc.
I did not go to the quarry as i am now a shiney again Sat, We enjoyed the facilities on site and Sunday we went to Wickstead. That was great fun except the bank hol traffic going in Today was another chilling and chatting day.
I met a lot of new and old faces... The Pocuk community is....well..........just like an extended family.
I hope Jo (idratherbesurfing) gets home ok...., Even Ukrabbiter turned up
Anyway...... I did not take many pics, but i'll get them up soon. |

Here's an idea..... and you could turn it into a money making venture.
Went to a wedding in Lincoln recently........ this turned up
You're supposed to be looking at the plastic pig, not the young lady
It was, to take the groom and his best-man to the church. It came with smoke machine, speakers hidden underneath that played the theme music, various well known phrases etc etc...... it even had the "blow-up doll" in the back window.
He makes a killing attending weddings etc. The night before the wedding, he was seen driving around Lincoln wearing a batman outfit |

I second everything that was said.
Sorry I wasn't around much guys but had to leave Sunday to get back for work.
The wife is staying til Thursday though and I'm sure she would have made an appearance again!
As already said. Extremely well organised. BBQ was ace as was the company. Nice to pt a face to names at last!
Hope to see you all again next year. Who knowa I may even remember the right time for the offroad session and pop along!
(I'm a spectator though!)
Roll on the next meet! |

Absolutely bostin weekend.
Thanks to Sid73 and Maz for the main organizing of another great success and to stony for the off roadin at Tixover. And a general THANK YOU to anybody and everybody who helped with the rest off the stuff especially our excellent array off BBQ chefs(Flyinhigh, Skids, Sid73, Stoney) they were fantastic and all the background staff endless chopping and peeling.
What a nice change to attend a meet and have good weather (and a decent masquee )
It was nice to meet new people and catch up with old ones too.
Cant wait for the next one |

Thanks to Jason & team for organising another fantastic event and thanks to Stoney for putting on the off roading
Hope to hear from Jo shortly, she's not been on the site yet. Hope the AA relay didn't spot the odd bit of mud after its mud pack beauty treatment |

You Pair got back quick!...we didnt arrive until 5.00pm
Thank you Jason & Marie Farr for an excellant extended bank holiday weekend Mega-Meet. Although now in the Turvey club with a Mondeo we didnt feel out of it one bit and enjoyed endless hours of excellent company.....Great to see a lot of new faces!!! The kids love all their new and old friends and we cant wait to be back with you all again soon.
Billing was a good choice and brill for the kids, Glad you enjoyed the off-roadin @ Tixover (Apologies for the late arrival i had a heavy session on Friday and then we coudnt find the site even though we were less than 2 miles away)
All the food was great and cooked to perfection......Loved taking over the pub on Monday for a mass 2 for 1........Thanks to everyone for bringing the glorious sunshine
