|
|
Hi all - unsure if this is in the right area but here goes.... I have seen a fair few discussions on stickers and emblems etc on here, Mine certainly has a tons of em!
I would certainly find it useful to have an area on here somewhere that we could post photos of stickers of badges etc that have japanese writing on and an explanation of what they say / mean / refer to.
I have only had my pajero for a month or so and want to make sure its all in tip top condition. There are bits of info i think i would find useful, e.g. i was looking at Cam belt change details and costs etc etc and was having a look round the car with a mate who has the cam Belt change book, we then noticed a sticker on the top of the engine with a km logo and next to that 99158km. This obviously relates to a Cam belt change so after some digging about i have potentailly saved £200+ on a needles Cam Belt swap!
In addition, i have 6 or 7 stickers added to the car in its life that i have no clue about what they mean!
So, would anyone else find an area on this forum useful to look at a pikkie of a sticker with an expalation / translation?
It cant be that hard to find someone who will read and translate stuff !
Anyhew- im driving to Southern France at 5.30 today in my dear old "chugaboom" and i cant wait... |

Hiya M8 if you post the pics in the lounge I will get them translated by a friend of mine, I say the lounge because as you say there isn't a specific place for stickers, and TBH I don't think there has ever been enough requests for that sort of info

Having had some of those stickers translated they are only partially Japanese, as for the rest it's anyone's guess, I asked the seller what they said and he replied Mitsubishi Pajero, and then I asked him what the rest said and his reply was, he wasn't sure and that he would have to do some more research so I avoided that site completely as far as stickers were concerned and had them made and designed to my requirements |

Hello
Thank you netsniper, now I know.
I always wondered, as everybody who has a winter pack sticker says it includes the snowflake symbol. Mine does not have one perhaps it melted
See you on the Icepack
