OK folks - watch this space.
There's no conformity, as Hayling Trailers don't have records from when it was made
Anyway, in anticipation I replaced the 2 axles with 1300kg ALKO ones with waterproof bearings, 2004, the entire hitch assembly, 2007, the wheels, 2006, the tyres, 2006.
There's so much data on so many plates on all of this.... I'm hoping to stun the DRIRE guys into submission... otherwise there's always the violin and the bikini .. |

Right, I've fitted further fog light so we have one on the correct side .. and strangely enough I just 'found' a receipt for the purchase of the trailer back in 1994 - with the axle weights and chassis number on it ... |

Fountain trailers who fitted my new axles in 2004, got me conformity details of both the hitch and the axles I managed to find another receipt with Vat ( forgot that ) anyway today I left the dossier ( 30 pages odd with lots of pictures) with the sous prefecture.. so it's sit back and wait for an appointment with the DRIRE.. It's getting a bit cold for the bikini |

NO, just forgot to post our success - we got the docs about 2 weeks after the DRIRE
The box trailer which is fairly new and was actually made by Blue line trailers, a 'proper' trailer maker is proving more difficult |
